MAINTENACE OF BUILDINGS AND PLAYGROUND
Working bees are arranged from time
to time by the School Council with the objective of maintaining and
improving our grounds and buildings.
Without parent support at these, the school
would quickly become uninviting and our pride in our school would
suffer.
Our Buildings and Grounds Committee will schedule regular
activities and special projects, so please be ready to nominate your
attendance for these.
During 2007 the Buildings and Grounds Committee
conducted extensive surveys and has begun developing new protocols for
working bees and tapping into our extensive amount of local experience
and expertise.
Our new Front Entrance development, the setting
up of our Prep learning Centre, sleeper seating and sleeper walls are
recent examples of the B&G’s commitment to Ferny Creek.
