Bushfire Risks As expected Ferny Creek Primary has been included on the Fire Risk Register developed for Victorian schools. Inclusion on the register means that there is a predetermined trigger for notifying parents or carers that we may be pre-emptively closed in the event that a Code Red Fire Danger Warning is issued by the Bureau of Meteorology for our district. A bushfire kit/has been distributed to all residents to assist in preparing for emergency or bushfire threat. More information on the specifics of school closures will be distributed in following newsletters. |
